James Douglas Saar, MD

James D. Saar, MD, a plastic surgeon in Tyler Texas, is the Director of the Center for Cosmetic Surgery at CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances Health System and the Chief of Plastic Surgery for CHRISTUS Trinity Clinic. Dr. Saar was honored to receive the Cronin Award, an award given by the Texas Society of Plastic Surgeons for outstanding research. He has been published in the medical journal of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. As an Associate Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, he was elected to serve on the Advisory Council for Plastic and Maxillofacial Surgery. The American Medical Association has presented him the Physician's Recognition award for continuing medical education.
